This is a far from comprehensive list of suggested readings to help figure out your path!

We hope they can help enlighten and light your way where ever you are coming from and going to.

Jane Roberts: The Oversoul Seven trilogy. A metaphysical classic. This fictional series is a funny and instructive model of how the Multiverse may work. Blending reincarnation, dreams, non-physical schools, and cranky but loveable characters, we follow Oversoul 7 as he learns more about himself through the personalities he manifests on Earth. Highly recommended.

Doreen Virtue: Healing with the Faeries. This book has great gems of information about faeries and other magical beings and how they relate with humans. Doreen’s personal story, complete with epiphanies and synchronicity, is interesting to read. Unfortunately, her writing style is a bit egocentric and self-congratulatory. Worth reading, if you take it with a grain of salt.

Rob Brezsny: Pronoia Is the Antidote for Paranoia: How the Whole World Is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings. If you haven’t read this book, please go get yourself a copy right now! It’s a wonderful workbook full of inspiring stories, exercises, artwork, silliness, and much more. It will encourage your creativity, inspire your passions, and get you up and moving, supporting the birth of the new, more conscious, culture. Very highly recommended!

Starhawk: The Fifth Sacred Thing. Another classic, for people interested in creating a new, more positive society. A work of fiction which shows how people can live and work together in harmony, and what happens when their society encounters a violent and hierarchical one. An exciting read, which may raise more questions than it answers.

Jane Yolen: Take Joy: A Book for Writers. This book is a fun-to-read compilation of essays on the art of writing. By the use of examples and anecdotes, Yolen shows how to improve your writing and make it more interesting to read. The first test, she says, is to write something that you’d want to read. This book is worth reading, no matter what type of writing you do.

Osho: Joy, Freedom, and Creativity. These are just the three books we’ve read so far in an entire series, all of which are taken from talks and teachings given by Osho. They will definitely make you think, and encourage you to question your own assumptions about how things work. Osho illustrates his points with parables and stories that are both simple and profound. Life-changing!

Ted Andrews: Enchantment Of The Faerie Realm: Communicate with Nature Spirits & Elementals. This book has great information about meditations to speak and work with the Faerie Kings and Queens as well as flower and tree faeries. Though the technical nature of this work can be a bit dull or repetitive sometimes, overall it is a useful resource for faerie information. You should definitely have this book in your library.
