Abundance

Signs of abundance are everywhere, if you only take the time to look for them. Notice the everyday blessings that are all around you.

Abundance is a way of approaching life. Once you accept the abundance all around you, more of what you desire will flow to you.

There are aspects of your life where you feel abundance. Focus on those and let their vibrant energies flow into places where you feel lack.

Abundance is all around us. We only need to look for it with an open mind and a grateful heart, and all that we wish will be ours.

What creature comforts do you enjoy? Our list: hot showers, chai tea, fuzzy slippers, tasty dinners, engrossing books, and squishy pillows.

Stop looking for abundance in the things you wish you had; instead look for it all around you. As you notice it, abundance will increase.

To feel more abundant, and hence receive more abundance, be thankful for what you have now and every time you handle money, in or out.

To receive anything you must first offer it to the world. Love is the way to achieve more of what you want. Love it, receive it.

Abundance is a feeling. When you focus on abundance and gratitude, you can’t help but notice the resplendent blessings that surround you.

Unexpected abundance is something to celebrate. When you receive a gift, some praise, or a check in the mail, show your joy and gratitude.

The more you feel abundant, the more abundance will be drawn to you. What are some things you can do to encourage those feelings?

May you enjoy an abundance of kindness, gratitude, joy, cheer, and wellness.

Cats

Take a clue from cats. They know how to have fun, they listen to their inner kitten, and when it's time to relax, they're all over it.

Stretch out your spirits, purr in the comfort of your being, and curl up in the sunshine, enjoying the ease of life.

Be more like a cat: follow your independent impulses, don't worry about others' opinions, stay young and playful, and take lots of naps.

Cats know how to love themselves, freely and unselfconsciously. They are happy to be and do whatever feels right in each moment.

Cats know when to come in out of the rain, clean themselves off, have a bite to eat, and find a warm spot to curl up in. Purrrrrfect!

Cats do whatever they feel like in any given moment. They don’t care what we think of them. And yet we love and adore them. Hmm...

Cats show their love and affection with snuggles, purrs, bonking heads, rubbing faces, and preening the hard to reach spot between the ears.

Let's talk about cats...they are awesome! They have such cute fuzzy faces, elegant posture, intoxicating purrs, and inspiring independence.

After a long, fun-filled, adventuresome day, we enjoy taking the time to relax with a good book and curled-up fuzzy-faced kitten-cats.

Meow! Time for another lesson from cats: love unconditionally, purr freely, and do what you like, on your own terms, when you feel like it.

While cats don’t exactly hibernate, they do tend to snuggle and sleep more during the winter. Can you make time to honor your inner kitteh?

Cats will always love you – on their own terms, of course. When you’re feeling down, they'll come to you with extra snuggles and purrs.

Cats are intimately familiar with their own nature. During their day, they are connected to who they are. You can do this too if you choose.

When cool cats gather to dream together, something magickal happens. They share a companionable silence as they lounge in a sun-filled spot.

Cats make us smile and fill our hearts with joy. What are the things in your life that are a guaranteed mood-lifter?

Cats are great teachers. From them, we can learn independence, warmth, grace, relaxation, self-esteem, and trust in our unique perspective.

Cats love to be helpful. They can purr you to sleep, “work” with you in the garden, or just keep you company when you need a friend.

Sometimes you just have to play with the cat.

Cats are natural healers. They somehow know when you need them most, and will come to your aid and work their feline magick. Purr purr purr.

Cats are the ultimate masters of being in the moment. They know what they want, want it now, and will not be deterred or distracted.

Like cats, we can learn to communicate non-verbally with our loved ones. Speak less. Express yourself through your body language.

Cats are masters of the unexpected. They can stick to their routine for days on end…then surprise you with a burst of wild creative energy!

Cats are beautiful friends. We are thankful for their resilience, love, charm, cleverness, and playfulness. Thank you, cats! Purr purr purr.

Cats love wholly and completely. Love with the trust and abandon of a sweet purring cat curled up on your lap.

Cats already know that they are the masters of their own destiny. They’re totally cool with it. Are you?

Listen to the cats. When they are hungry, they seek food. When they’re sociable, they seek laps. And when they are tired, they seek naps.

Have you hugged a cat today? If not, find one, ask nicely – perhaps with a treat or some nip – and receive some loving feline energy.

Change

The fundamental nature of life is change. Our most potent power is not only the ability to change but to direct change in our favor.

The fastest way of achieving the changes you really want is to fully believe that they can actually happen to you. Think, feel, act.

As you change your life, old habits and patterns may try to reassert themselves. Release them by affirming why you want these changes.

If what you focus on is what you bring about, take a look at what's going on in your life to find out where you want to shift your thoughts.

In order to change something about yourself, picture yourself as you are now and mentally "subtract" only the thing you want to release.

Change is about motion. When you make changes, know that you have the power to adjust your course if you don't like the initial results.

Do you know that change is just around the corner? That feeling of fundamentally satisfying transformation? It's coming...

As autumn approaches, notice the changes all around you: the air is a bit crisper, the days are shorter, and the colors are more vivid.

The winds of change can be a whirlwind or a gentle breeze. Both produce transformations of consciousness. Let them in. Whoosh!

When you change just one little thing – your attitude – you’ll be amazed how much transformation happens, in all areas of your life.

Be open to the wisdom of the universe. Epiphanies can happen anytime, anywhere, from any source, and they can enliven your whole life!

The power to change your life is within you right now. Tap into it by focusing on the things that bring you joy.

Sometimes, if you change your perspective on things, you can have a more festive time. Seeing things anew is good for you.

Change will happen, and it’s natural to fear the unknown. If you focus on what you want, you’ll influence the changes for the positive.

As you recognize all the beautiful and uplifting people, circumstances, and things around you, your life transforms accordingly.

You have all the power you need inside you right now to make the changes you most want. Tap into it as often as you can.

Choices

Every action you take is a choice. Your attitude is a choice. Life is all about the choices we make, so…choose well!

Choices in your life are always available. Sometimes they may not be the easiest ones, but, in the end, they will be the right ones for you.

To manifest your dreams, make choices that are in line with what you want. The future you desire is created with each action you take.

Listen with your heart, not your mind. With this constant loving reminder, the choices you make will bring more joy into the world.

In every situation, you have a choice of how to react. You can always choose to change what seems negative into something you can work with.

Choose comfort over discomfort, love over apathy, compassion over violence, and you will feel harmony…but only if you want to.

Assume good intent from everyone you meet. You don’t need to be gullible or naive, but give them the gift of seeing them in the best light.

“Tradition is driving me insane!” – ElvenTiger, discussing what to do for Halloween.

Rather than fret because people have different opinions then yours, revel in the diversity that makes the world so fascinating.

If you're deciding whether or not to do something, use this test: is it a passionate YES? If not, perhaps choose something else.

Choosing a life full of love, joy, and peace is a whole lot of fun! Open to the possibility, and enjoy the ensuing laughter and creativity.

You can receive a great amount of joy from saying "yes!" with an open heart. What can you find in your life you can genuinely say “yes” to?

Release the need to control every little nuance in your life and watch how effortlessly and smoothly everything flows as a result.

Sometimes when life seems too formulaic, it is time to step out of the normal routine and do something special for yourself.

Good feelings only come from feeling good. Choose to experience the world with a twinkle in your eye and a spring in your step.

It’s good to question your assumptions now and then. What do you believe? Why? What are some new ways to look at life? What holds you back?

The preferences and ideas that you have may be right for you, however, they need not be for anyone else.

The circles of life go round and round, the river that flows is yourself, stay on the path if you want to, just say yes! Bien sur!

Everything is sacred. Why not act that way?

If the preponderance of your thoughts feel positive, then as the magic 8-ball says, “outlook is good!” If not, turn them around.

Focus your intention on what feels the best to you in each moment. Imagine where you will be when each choice is this easy to accomplish.

Follow your intuitions. They will guide you to amazing adventures, beautiful people, creative expression, and divine wonder.

When faced with a choice, choose to go toward what you love and enjoy. Make your decisions from a place of desire, rather than fear.

When you go on a vacation or a getaway, you come back with a fresh new perspective and view of life. Keep your momentum!

When old energy patterns have you stuck, or running in circles, do something new and in line with what you really want. Move forward!

Life is what you make it. Choosing to follow your bliss and acting on your highest principles creates a world of joy, love, and creativity.

The choices you make when you are centered lead you to the life of your dreams. Focus within to find your next steps.

Happiness is a choice. Make the decision to choose what brings you joy rather than settle for something mediocre or miserable.

Do the best thing for you right now. Whether a momentous occasion or a first step, do it to your fullest potential.

Even when you feel lost in sorrow or worry or doubt, most likely you can still stop and breathe. That will help you find your path again.

No matter how challenging your past was, you have the power, right now, to focus your positive intentions on living life on your own terms.

Cleansing

Spring is the time to refresh and renew yourself. Taking the time to clear your head of cobwebs will free up more energy for new ideas.

Cleansing ourselves frees up the bottled energies we may have stored up over the winter and helps us gain momentum toward our dreams.

By doing a spring cleansing, we can assess where we are, find new paths to take, and be grounded in the ways of being that we love most.

Once you've cleared your head of old patterns, you can create new ways of being to harness your energy for constructing your dreams.

Clearing away clutter can help you organize your thoughts. Let go of what you don't need and beautify your internal and external space.

Cleaning house is akin to clearing your mind. When you take away the clutter, you can feel vibrancy, excitement, and a new view of the world.

While cleaning up after your Thanksgiving festivities, consider taking the time to also rid your energy system of old patterns and grudges.

It’s a great time for some spring-cleaning for your body. Try a juice fast, or eat greens, drink fruit smoothies, and nibble on cucumbers.

Cleanse with all four elements in your shower: the flowing water, the fire of its heat, the steamy air, and the earthy tub you stand on.

When you feel out of sorts, cleansing helps. Take a shower, meditate, and just relax. It refocuses and revitalizes your energy.

Community

A vibrant community is filled with creative and conscious people. How are you contributing to your community?

Your community of choice is a place to express your joys and sorrows, share your creative work, and brainstorm new ideas for the future.

Community events are ways to connect with your fellow travelers and enhance your relationships with your chosen family.

When you collaborate with others in your community, for example on creative projects, everyone is uplifted. Share your passions!

When you gather with friends for celebrations, whether festive or somber, remember that you are doing the work of building community.

The company that you keep is based on your ideals, joys, interests, and attitudes. If you want to revitalize your community, look within.

We are each on our own path. When you cross paths with others, celebrate the commonalities and differences, and thank them for the company.

In this modern fragmented society, it is a delight and blessing when you fall in with people who are your tribe, your homies, your peeps.

Love and connection come in many forms. Honor the people in your life, especially those who you resonate with the most.

Think about the people who inspire you most. Who are they? How are you like them? How can you take that energy and share it in your own way?

Creativity

Let's talk about creativity. We all have the power to create something new and amazing. What is your unique spirit bringing to the universe?

Creativity is the natural flow of the universe through our selves, flavored with our own unique thoughts and perspectives. Be creative!

You may think you are not a creative person, but just living this life here on Earth is, in many ways, a creative act. Great job!

Creativity can take many nontraditional forms: being a creative parent, finding solutions to your problems, creating your dream career.

Much of our creative work is happening when we're not consciously focused on it. We're always forming new ideas and insights to inspire us.

When we create, we are open to the energies of the all. As we let the spark flow through us, we bring new and exciting concepts to life.

What sparks of creativity have you experienced in the past few days? What are you creating with this new energy?

The flow of creativity feels like an avalanche of joy and wonder. Being open to that possibility creates connections with everything.

When we focus on being creative, the world opens up to us and we see life as a canvas to play on.

Creativity is a spark that comes from within. This spark, harnessed, cherished and honored, lights the world with its wonder, joy and love.

You'll be amazed at the floodgates of creativity that open up when you release yourself from old restrictions and habits.

When you are creating, enjoy the process rather than focus on the outcome. By being present, you translate your inspiration into creation.

What does it mean to you to live “a life of the imagination?” And, are you living it? Do you want to?

Let your creativity flow. Take whatever materials that feel right and make something (even if you don’t know how), just for the fun of it!

To share your creativity, first focus on what you’re doing in the present moment. Later, convey it to others in ways that please you.

In order to fully express your creativity, you need down time, lulls where you just rest and recharge. Incorporate them into your life.

There are many ways to use your creativity. You might solve a problem, build a tree house, whip up a new recipe, or view life in a new way.

Brainstorming is fun! Pick a topic that’s close to your heart, and come up with a whole blue-sky list of ideas. Ask a friend to join you

When you have an inspiration, remember that you don’t have to ask permission to implement it. Follow your intuition. Take the first step!

When you let your creativity flow, you might make coleslaw, finish writing an article, or put together a podcast. See where it takes you!

Have you devoted any time to your creativity lately? Whip out those pens, papers, brushes, or laptops, and get inspired! It's soul-work!

Desires and Passions

Stay open to many possibilities. How will the universe answer your desires? Your wishes could come true in the most unexpected ways.

What are the things that make you say a passionate "Yes!" with a big grin on your face and a bright glow in your heart?

What inspires you? What gets you up and out of bed each day with a big smile on your face? What’s your passion? Find it and follow it!

Focus on what you like. That’s all.

During the Full Moon, use the energy it provides to focus your intention on what you most desire now. It will support your efforts.

“The distance between your deepest fears and your wildest dreams is but a thought. I think.” - Quester

We have often been told not to follow our whims and fancies. Yet these are the very things that can reconnect you with your soul's purpose.

Live each moment as if it were your first. See the world as fresh and new, and follow your passions.

We each see the world from our own unique perspective, flavored with our experiences, thoughts, feelings, intuitions, and interactions.

Look inside your heart and find your burning desires. Cherish them, for they are the keys to leading the life you intend to lead.

The more you do the things you like to do, the more fun you have. The more fun you have, the more energy you have to share your passions!

When you put the energy out there for something you want, it has to return to you. That which you desire will manifest in some way.

When you put an intention out to the universe, let it go and become what you desire. Being unattached to the outcome allows it even sooner!

Balance means being fully who you are, so that when you make a decision, you’re aligned with your true desires and intentions.

Vibe first, then act. Translation: get in positive vibration in regard to your desires, and only then take the actions that get you there.

No matter who you are, you can listen to your spirit and follow your calling.

Dreams

The dreams we have each night can bring us potent symbols of our deepest hopes, fears, and desires.

Faeries

Faeries, by many names, have been encountered in all times, places, and cultures. Are you on the lookout for them in your daily life?

Who are the fae? Perhaps you have a little faerie energy in you: a hint of mischief, love of daydreaming, and joy in life's little delights.

Faeries are part of the land. To attract them, leave offerings of milk or sweets in your backyard, or build a house for them in the park.

Faeries really like children. They are cute, curious, and always drop tasty morsels of their food to munch on.

The faeries went to the fair. It felt like a retreat. They were on a fair retreat. Or was it a faerie treat? We think it was both!

We found some fall faeries frolicking by the fire, dancing merrily as leaves swirled around them. They were having a marvelous merry time!

Shh! Quiet...the faeries are sleeping, curled up in the warm, dry houses that the children made for them this summer. They await the snow.

Nestled snuggly in their warm beds, the faeries dream of warm breezes, fragrant flowers, sunny skies, and the earth’s awakening.

As the waves broke on the beach, the dancers wove in and out, over and under, ‘round and ‘round to the thumps of the drums. Beltane is here!

The faeries are scheming... How does this sound? Tidingdale University, a Spiritual Unschool where all learn from and teach one another.

Faeries love to dance. You can find them under a bright full moon, in luscious glens, and between the clouds of a brilliant afternoon storm.

Faeries come in all shapes, sizes, and glimmers. Look around to see if you can spot one, dancing in the woods, under water, or on a cloud.

If you were a faerie, where would you dance? What kind of terrain would you live in? What would your favorite offerings be? *sparkle*

Hidden behind every question, lurking near every quandary, giggling under every assumption lies a faerie filled with mischief and love.

Gratitude

The time we have here on Earth is a gift, so cherish it. Be thankful for your life and the lives of those you love.

It can be hard to feel gratitude when our problems stare us in the face. Persevere, step by step, and you will overcome the resistance.

Expressing gratitude brings you closer to feeling truly thankful. Feeling it throughout your being brings your desires to manifestation.

Celebrate each step along the way to your dreams. By expressing gratitude and excitement, you'll build momentum and enjoy the journey.

The feeling of joyful gratitude pervades our whole being when we allow our thoughts to dwell on our blessings. What are you grateful for?

When you look at your life, what do you see? Do you see the problems, issues, or troubles, or do you see the love, joy, and accomplishments?

Gratitude is like a mirror. What you see are the things that you cherish most, and as you focus on them, they are reflected in your life.

You are surrounded by blessings – your family and friends, your home, the food you eat, the things you have and what you do, and much more!

The more thankful you are for all the blessings in your life, the more that will flow to you. Be grateful and share your abundance.

When you have too many questions and not enough answers, simply take a few deep breaths and be thankful for who you are.

Feeling upset? A quick way to change your mood is to make a list of all the things that you’re thankful for. Try it and notice the shift.

No matter how you start your day, there are always things to be thankful for. The more you focus on those, the happier you’ll be.

At least once a day, stop what you are doing, look around and think about something you are grateful for. Give thanks in your own way.

When you finally get what you’ve been working toward for a long time, and things click into place, those are moments to celebrate!

Express your gratitude whenever you get a chance. It’ll boost your mood and remind you what you love about being.

What are you grateful for? You know, expressing your gratitude is highly likely to attract more of the things you most enjoy!

Gratitude is a way to express yourself in a manner that opens your heart and speaks of your spirit and nature.

Happiness

Peace and happiness come from knowing that you are an eternal being possessed of infinite wisdom, kindness, and creativity.

On some days happiness may seem out of reach. But if you keep going, letting things flow, you may find it unexpectedly around the corner.

Many factors contribute to who you are. Take time to explore, in your own way, the unique menu of options for your sustained happiness.

Happiness is a choice. You have the opportunity to choose to feel good or bad about what's happening in your life. Which do you choose?

Savor your happiness like you would your favorite dessert, without the guilt. After all, you lovingly prepared it for yourself.

Happiness comes from within. Instead of using your mind to figure out how to be happy, just *feel* happy and enjoy the warmth in your heart.

It’s okay to be happy on a regular basis. Even though there are others who are struggling, you’ll be more helpful to them if you feel great.

Sustaining a beautiful thought or feeling is a great way to encourage and maintain your happiness level. Seize the joy!

Many times we get stuck in our heads, picking things apart. Try feeling your way through your life instead, letting your heart lead the way.

The foundation of a joyful life is believing that you are worthy of joy. Seek deeply within yourself to find your core, your eternal spirit.

You are the only one who can make you happy. Think thoughts that bring a smile to your face, and do things that generate joy.

What’s the happiest thing you can think of? Good job!

In each moment, look for things that make you laugh or chuckle. What’s the point of going through life being grumpy? Have some fun!

Joyfully do the task at hand - it’s more fun! What are you doing right now?

What are you doing right now? Are you still having fun? If not, keep practicing until you do.

To lift your spirits, sense your connection with All-That-Is. We all have it and experience it in our own unique ways. Tap into your Source!

You know that feeling your get when you see your cat or another beloved pet, and you just want to smile? Try it out with other beings.

Happiness is an attitude towards life, and attitude is your choice. Despite what happens around you, choose to feel happy and it will be so.

Choose joy as a way of life. Don't deny your other emotions, let them flow through you, and return to your base intention - happiness.

Be silly! Do things that make you feel joyful and playful. Put down the to-do list and the calendar. Invoke some fun!

Here’s a secret about the joy of the season, or happiness in any season: you create it yourself, in your heart, by choice.

Focus on the joyful aspects of your life. As you continue to see and feel more happiness, more of it will be drawn to you.

Whenever you have a chance, smile at the next thing you see with your full heart. You may be surprised at how your day turns for the better.

Go to sleep laughing, and you’ll wake up in a good mood.

To be happy is a decision. Once you’ve made that choice, you will be drawn to experiences, people, and things that bring you more happiness.

When you quiet your mind, your natural happiness can shine through. The mind likes to solve problems. The heart knows joy.

Think back to a time when you were delightfully happy. What were you doing? Where was your focus? What brings you great joy? Do it again!

Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle! Share your joy with everyone you meet. You uplift the world by being you!

If you like something, enjoy it. If something makes you laugh, laugh out loud! If you see something you love, embrace it!

If you're going to have a busy schedule, you might as well fill it with things you love to do! Balance your time so you can recharge, too.

Trust yourself. Trust your children. Trust your cats. Trust that the universe is a benevolent place.

Health and Healing

The body has an amazing capacity for healing. Yes, we can help it along with medicine and procedures, but we ultimately heal ourselves.

An important component to healing is patience. As you heal, be patient with your thoughts and feelings, your body, and those who love you.

Physical touch is an important part of good health. Kiss your loved ones, pet a cat, or hug a tree – you'll feel better!

Having an active community of family and friends is an important part of good health. Tend those relationships and watch them thrive!

Even if the prognosis seems grim, your positive approach to your own health is most important. We all have as-yet-untapped healing powers.

Your thoughts and emotions are very influential on your physical body. To help yourself have optimum health, think positive and feel happy.

Some days if you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed out, take the time to relax and recuperate. Your body and mind will thank you for it.

Your body has the amazing capacity to maintain itself. Listen to it when you are tired, hungry, thirsty, or full and you’ll feel great.

When’s the last time you did something really special just for you? What was it? Is it time to nurture your spirit once again?

Whenever you get a chance, laugh! All-over-body-mirth, lack-of-breath-giggles, and cheek-aching smiles do wonders for your well-being.

Listen to your body. When it’s hungry, feed it. When it’s thirsty, give it something to drink. When it’s tired, rest. Pretty simple, huh?

Nourish your body, mind, and spirit by listening to your inner wisdom and following it, with delight.

Here are some healing practices that you might find soothing and refreshing: massage, naps, Reiki, and of course, chocolate chip cookies.

Heed the calling for rest and contemplation as often as those for drive and action. The ebb and flow of life is a natural, beautiful cycle.

Take care of yourself. Find things that replenish your energy and nourish your body.

A way to re-energize and replenish yourself is to laugh. Incorporate more silliness, goofy fun, guffaws, and belly-laughs into your life.

Health is not only about nurturing your body, but also your mind, your emotional self, and your spirit. Find your health in wholeness.

Nurture your body, mind, and spirit. Listen to the messages you receive from them, and follow your inner guidance toward wellness.

Listen to what your body is telling you. Deep listening is a good way to ensure that you are doing things that are healthy for you.

Kindness

An act of kindness lasts but a moment. Being kind lasts lifetimes.

Let kindness and compassion be your guide. Everyone is doing the best they can from where they are.

It is as His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama says: “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”

Being authentic can be empowering on its own, yet combined with kindness, it becomes transformational and enlightening.

Kindness is seeing someone in their best light. Rather than criticizing or judging a person, draw upon their most positive aspects.

With every person that you meet, including yourself, be kind. By being present and letting your love flow, your life will inspire the world.

Your home is a safe haven where you can take shelter from life’s storms. Make it so by being kind to yourself and those who share your home.

To be kind is to offer yourself with compassion and joy. Kindness is easy to practice, free to give, and will help uplift your spirits.

Kindness is an underrated trait. Find kindness within you and share it with yourself and those you encounter. Be kind and feel good!

Contrary to popular opinion, kindness and honesty are not mutually exclusive. Deliver your truths with compassion.

Being kind will not only bring joy to those around you, but will also help your heart open and light up. Let kindness expand from within.

Kindness begins within. Be kind to yourself, treat yourself gently, and trust your intuition. Speak kindly to yourself in your own mind.

Kindness is our natural way of being, when we let go of our ego attachments and insecurities, and open our hearts to others.

Kindness doesn’t cost you anything. You can freely share it, and both you and the recipient will benefit from it.

Kindness is fueled not only by our love for another but by love for ourselves as well. Treat yourself as you would a beloved pet.

Do kind things for the people in your life. They will receive joy from it, and so will you. The love will ripple outward more and more!

Nature

Our spiritual community consists not only of humans, but also animals, houses, trees, clouds, Earth, Sun, Moon, planets, stars and galaxies.

You are intimately connected with the world. You are the air you breathe, the food you eat, and the water you drink.

Feel the power of nature as you walk on the beach, in the woods, or even down your street. Sense your connection with the world around you.

You are a creature of the earth. How do you interact with your surroundings and acknowledge your part in the whole?

The beauty of the natural world is but one way of experiencing it. Close your eyes, hear the birds, smell the flowers, and touch the grass.

Every blade of grass, every gust of wind, and every person experiences the universe in our own unique way. Feel your connection to them all.

Life is a circle. There is life, then death, and then rebirth. We are still connected with those who have passed to the other side.

The trees are asleep and dreaming. The sun is low on the horizon. What new dreams will you create during the darkest time of the year?

Shhh! Listen. Can you hear the secrets the trees whisper in their sleep? At this darkest time of year, hear the quiet wisdom of nature.

The energies of nature can be subtle or powerful. Go outside, no matter the weather, and savor the beautiful ebb and flow.

Notice how you ebb and flow like the ocean tides. You are a being of the earth. Allow your natural rhythms their sway.

Commune with nature and explore your connection to the planet. Go out for a walk, play around in the garden, or stand in the misty rain.

Summer is the time for relaxation, jumping in the lake, BBQs, hanging out on the deck with friends, fireside gatherings, gardening, and joy.

Happy Solstice! From dawn until dusk, we’ve enjoyed the longest day, with sunny weather, beautiful skies, and happy cats. Blessings!

Summer and water go so well together. Jump in the lake, swim in the river, do laps in the pool, ride the waves at the ocean – enjoy water!

Air and water, bless us with your cleansing and inspiration. Earth and fire, sustain us with your grounding glow. Spirit watch over all.

Honor Nature in all her aspects, from power to gentleness. We are a part of the Earth and integral to her web of life.

This is the time of year to go to your garden or farmers’ market to pick out some fresh fruits and veggies to nourish and delight your body.

Explore nature’s moods. Revel in the sun, yes, but also let the rain wash your spirit clean and experience the wind’s exhilarating dances.

Mother Nature is spontaneous, sometimes giving us the unexpected. How can you follow her example and change up your routine?

Happy December! Get into the spirit of the season. By this we mean gratitude, joy, love, intention, and creativity.

Listen to the wisdom of the rain. Sense the language of the trees. Feel your connection to all things by opening to your essence.

Beautiful flower of March, awaken to the Full Moon, the scent of Spring, exultant Night. Let in the energies of the changing season.

Spring is a time of birth and renewal. Explore the nascent aspects of yourself that desire nourishment and see them blossom.

Obstacles

Relax. You can do it! You are an amazing being and have the ability to overcome every obstacle in front of you. Great job!

Though you may have many challenges in your life, know that you have an inner strength that you can call upon to aid you during these times.

When you are feeling low, it is nice to have a friend come check on you and make you some lunch. Oh, and doing yoga helps too.

When you feel "a bit off plumb," do something completely different. Take a swim, do jumping jacks, ride a merry-go-round, or eat a plum.

If you feel stuck in your head and sideswiped by worries, you have a choice. You can either let it linger, or you can let it go.

Sometimes to get moving again in the direction you want, you need to just let go. Release control and go with the flow.

Sometimes starting a new project feels like two steps forward, one (or maybe two) steps back. Hang in there and keep going!

How do you find your mojo? If you are feeling bored or uninspired, how do you get yourself psyched up again?

Resistance in your life takes many forms, but they're all different degrees of fear. Start with loving yourself, then all else will follow.

Some days it can be harder to find motivation and to do the things that matter. Find the strength and keep taking the next step.

Sometimes there will be bumps in the road and it seems that nothing is going according to plan. Stop, relax, and refocus on your intentions.

Even when it looks like things are going backwards, don't let these signals drag you down. You really ARE moving forward!

Sometimes when we stumble backwards, away from our goals, it actually helps us find the impetus to move forward, further than before.

Sometimes it takes effort to transcend life's challenges. We become empowered when we take inspired action rather than merely reacting.

"It's kind of scary being fearless." – Starcat

Feeling lost? Seek guidance. You can find answers in nature, from wise ones, in books, and in your dreams. Wisdom surrounds us.

Though we can sometimes get stuck in a rut, we can move forward on our path by being kind, loving, and gentle with ourselves.

Endings make space for new beginnings. Release old expectations and your journey will take you to places that you have only imagined.

Your potential far exceeds your limitations.

"I didn't lose it, I just don't know where it is!" – Dryst

If it feels like the universe is trying to toss you out of alignment, recognize when you are out of whack and work your way back into whack.

Even when you are faced with a challenging situation, you can still have hope and faith. Know that you'll be taken care of by the universe.

Be who you are no matter what. The most important thing you could ever do for yourself is to be centered in the face of adversity.

If you’re feeling stuck, ask the question, “What would it be like to have exactly what I want?” Envision it, answer it, and feel it. Repeat.

What can you do when you have a hard day? Do some extra self-nurturing, talk with someone who makes you laugh, take a bath, go to bed early.

Even if you have a whole bunch on your plate, remember that you are always loved and life will find a way to arrange itself in your favor.

If you are surrounded by a flood of strong emotions, whether your own or others’, keep floating toward your center. You will get through.

You’ll run into people who have very different opinions than you. It may even be someone dear to you. Relax and let them have their views.

When you feel like you’re swimming upstream in life, the effort and results are never what you want. Turn around and go with the flow!

If you can’t seem to cooperate with your own intentions, at least quiet your mind and get out of the way, letting things flow naturally.

The show must go on! When you’re having a tough day or facing adversity, continue to show up and do your best. All will be well.

No matter how you have acted or the way you have felt, you can always start from where you are and feel a little better. Move forward.

When challenges appear in your life, there are lessons to learn. Find the silver lining and your happiness will continue to expand.

The courage to face your most challenging situations lies inside you. Even in your darkest hour, connect to your light within.

Playfulness

Be playful today! Do something outdoors that feels wonderful. Garden, feed the birds, do a cartwheel, or just sit and enjoy the breeze.

If you enjoy the feeling of drama in your life, make it positive drama. Jump for joy, squeal with delight, shiver with excitement!

Do you have a daily to-do list? Make sure to add fun, nurturing and exciting things that will encourage your spiritual and playful self!

Birthdays are a fun recognition of your entrance into the world. Laugh, play, eat, gather loved ones, sing, and celebrate the wonderful YOU!

We sit by the fire, mead or apple cider in hand, bellies full of our shared feast. We drum and chat and celebrate the season's turning.

Even adults need to play. Let your spirit shine, laugh with abandon, giggle with your friends - go out and have some fun tonight!

Go to your mirror and make funny faces at yourself until you laugh – a real, uproarious, silly guffaw. There. Feel better?

Have you ever tried inventing a new language on the spot, then communicating with your friend? The more you laugh, the better it works.

'Tis the season to make holiday gifts, celebrate with family, and enjoy this time of joy, merriment, and good-will. Blessings to all!

We have been celebrating the Winter Solstice, the Full Moon, and the Lunar Eclipse. Now, on to Christmas! Good cheer to you and yours!

The after-holiday gatherings can be quite refreshing. Enjoy your friends and family for who they are, not who you want them to be.

Play and leisure are an important part of refreshing the spirit. What do you like to do, just for fun?

Being playful is a wonderful way to feel alive and joyous. Whenever you get a chance, take the time to see the world like a child.

Practice

Create a personal spiritual practice that you can incorporate into your daily life. It will help you stay focused on your intentions.

If you could do anything you wanted, what would be a fun and healthy activity that you could do every day?

Once you've decided on a daily practice, figure out the best time of day for it. By choosing the right time, you'll be more consistent.

The only way to improve is to practice. In the realm of your spirituality, what skills do you need to reach your goals? Go practice them!

To remind ourselves to live from the heart, adopting a daily spiritual practice is a good idea. A brief daily check-in can work wonders.

We aren't made to be constantly on the go. Remember to take time just for you, to relax, recharge, and nurture your soul.

When inspiration appears, follow through and take action. Find and take the next steps to actualizing your newly-inspired ideas.

How balanced is your life? Do you have time to rest, work, play, socialize, exercise? To create balance is not as difficult as it may seem.

A daily practice should, ideally, be something fun, an oasis of self-nurturing that you look forward to doing.

Rather than wait until stress sets in, take some time for yourself now – perhaps a bubble bath, dancing to your favorite tunes, or a catnap.

Create a daily practice of listing all the things that you’re thankful for. The way your hair looks, how the cat smells, dinner, everything!

When things unfold in a different way than you expected, try going with the flow to see where it takes you rather than paddling upstream.

If you spend just ten minutes a day nurturing yourself, it will brighten your mood, ease your stress, and inspire you to follow your dreams.

Stop what you're doing and take a deep breath. If you feel centered, go about your day. If not, take another breath. Repeat as necessary.

Breathing is a foundational part of any spiritual practice. Sit quietly for just a moment and focus on your breath. See what you discover!

Everyone has negative thoughts now and then. The key is not to attach yourself to them, but rather to observe them and then let them go.

From deep in the darkness within, find your spark of light and tend it, planting it in fertile soil until spring, when the shoots unfold.

Before you go into a situation where you feel nervous or uncertain, set an intention, e.g. "I feel confident" or "I will go with the flow."

Here’s an empowering new mantra: “I shine my light brightly, and all that I need shall be mine.” Try it and see what happens!

Sometimes it’s nice to just sit back, relax, and enjoy some quiet time. It’s a good way to refresh your spirit and recharge your creativity.

Every day is a new dance. You choose the steps you take. Flow through your life with ease and grace, following your inner rhythms.

Did you know that just by existing, you help the universe expand? Every new thought, feeling, and action affects the world in so many ways.

Sometimes when you want to gain momentum, you have to just take that first step. To keep momentum, just take another!

When you have the opportunity to be in a quiet place, take some time to do some reflection, be present, and connect with your deep self.

Open your arms wide. Face the sun, even if it’s behind a cloud. Take a deep breath. Be thankful for everything. Exhale. Repeat as desired.

Imagine you are a point of stillness within all the movement and chaos around you. Keep your center as you interact with the world.

Your mind thrives on repetition – that’s how it creates. Remind yourself every day to do the things you really want to do.

Stop. Take a deep breath. Take another, and again. Listen deep. Take your time. What did it say? If joyous, follow it. If not, look deeper.

When you’re busy celebrating or on vacation, remember to take time for your daily spiritual practices. Be aware and stay centered in joy.

To start your day in a positive and energy-lifting way, take ten or fifteen minutes to meditate. You’ll be thankful for the self-reflection.

Our society is very focused on what we DO. What if we relax a bit and turn our thoughts to more fully BEING who we are?

When you don’t know what to do, sometimes it’s best to wait patiently for inspiration. Give your intuition a quiet space in which to speak.

As you go about your day, take time, even if only for a moment, to check in with your intuition. Heed your inner guidance.

As you follow through with your intuition, the guidance it offers you can lead you to the life of your dreams. Honor your inner self.

As you put your intentions and energy out into the universe, you’ll be amazed by the many ways the blessings will return to you.

As you go about your day, keep looking for things that bring you joy. With practice, you’ll have no trouble finding lots of them!

Follow the guidance of your intuition. The more attuned you are to your inner voice, the more uplifting your life will become.

Reminding yourself every day that you are a beautiful and loving being can be challenging sometimes. Practice will make perfect.

Sometimes we make things way too complex. When you quiet your mind and listen to your intuition, you can often find a more direct route.

Even if you have a very busy schedule, you can always make time to breathe, do a brief meditation, or simply be grateful.

When new ideas flow, catch hold of one or two, and follow them to your best ability. With practice, you’ll do more and more each day!

Remember to take a break once in a while for some quiet contemplation. Nurturing your spirit allows your intuition to speak directly to you.

Before taking action, reflect on your intention. With practice, your intention will become the next thing you do.

In the transition between your daily activities, pause and breathe deeply. Connect with your inner source and then proceed to act.

Within you is the ability to see others with a loving heart. Your transformation begins with your next deep breath.

Presence

Sometimes when life is full of interesting, exciting, and intriguing events and people, it is better to experience them than document them.

Live your life as a spiritual practice. Rather than setting aside special times for spirituality, live each moment with intention and joy.

Stop what you are doing and pay attention to your surroundings. Just for a moment, breathe, open your senses, and simply observe.

The present moment is a place of pure joy. What distracts you from dwelling in the moment on a regular basis?

What is a distraction to one person, is another person's life's passion.

No matter how distracted you may become, you can still choose to focus on what matters most to you. Pause for a moment and find your center.

Focus on the present moment, trusting that the future will be taken care of when you get there.

Stop and look around. See how beautiful the world really is, whether you see trees, clouds, and birds, or streets, buildings, and people.

It takes faith and trust to let go of trying to control the future. You'll find your way by doing your best in the present moment.

Focus on your present moment. The power to change anything in your life starts with focusing on what you want.

What does it mean to be in the flow? You’re enjoying what is happening, without judgment and with presence. It’s like your life is a dance.

You’ll be amazed by how easy life can be if you just relax, focus on what you’re doing in this moment, and be yourself.

During this holiday season, the universe has a special gift for you. Here it is: Be Present! *faeries giggle* Tee hee hee!

Be who you are as best you can. Remember that everyone else is trying to do the same. Have compassion for yourself and those you encounter.

Live as if every moment were a note in the symphony of your life. By being present, you’re creating beautiful music each step along the way.

Sometimes the limitations we put on ourselves affect how we see other people. How can you clean off your spectacles and see more clearly?

Focus within and find the bright light that is your Source. Open yourself to its message and share your radiant gifts with the world.

Life has a way of showing you what you need most in the moment. Focus on “now” and you will see the beauty and love all around you.

We like presence. Being in a place of awareness of the beauty of life and ourselves, and connected with it all – try it, you’ll like it too!

Think of something that makes you really, really happy. Now extend that feeling to your present moment. Enjoy those warm joyful feelings!

Focus on what you're doing. Enjoy it! Take as much time as you want, and savor it. Now is where you're at!

If at any time, you decide to do something later. How about now?

There are many ways to seek spiritual connection: conversations with friends, silent meditation, study… What are some ways you enjoy?

When you dwell in the present moment, your divine self and your conscious self form a beautiful connection of magnificent proportion.

As you go about your daily activities, pause once in a while to breathe, smile, and be present. Infuse your life with joy and connection.

When you allow the present moment to be as it is, while doing what feels delightful to you, it is the best of both worlds.

Self-Awareness

Science has yet to figure out what the "self" is. What is self-awareness? It is always with us, yet ephemeral, beyond matter and energy.

There are states of being (such as meditation, dreams, and trance) where your thoughts cease, yet self-awareness persists.

As spiritual beings, we often confuse being human with existence itself. Our consciousness persists outside our normal waking states.

We forget that we inhabit our bodies, yet are not them. When we observe our thoughts and feelings, who is doing the observing?

The chemical reactions in our brains are an effect of our spirits translating themselves in each moment. So, then, who are you really?

Life is based not only on what we experience but in our intrinsic nature. We are not merely thoughts, but a being expressing thoughts.

What is your self-worth based on? Instead of believing what others tell you, recognize what comes from within when you feel your best.

Sometimes being a rebel just means being yourself. Instead of following the crowd do what feels right for you. Let yourself shine!

It seems odd to advise you to "be yourself." Who else would you be? And yet many of us spend a lot of time chasing others' opinions of us.

Look deep inside yourself. Guidance is waiting for you whenever you focus on the creative muse within.

Core beliefs influence every thought, action, and feeling you have. Take a look at your life and see their boons and busts.

Experiment with your inner senses. Close your eyes and imagine the smell of the flowers in your grandmother's yard or the scent of cinnamon.

People who talk a lot are just choosing to express their internal dialogue out loud.

Bask in your own divinity. Recognize your true nature and celebrate who you are.

As you explore new passions and come up with unique ideas, the discoveries you make about yourself may surprise you.

You're the only you there is. Do something special for yourself today: soak in a bubble bath, take a nap, or eat one of your favorite meals.

Focusing within creates your power without. By being who you are and doing what feels best, your life unfolds effortlessly and joyfully.

Invest in yourself - time, money, energy, enthusiasm, love, laughter, learning - and you have a recipe for a happy and successful life.

Understanding who you are is essential to figuring out how to relate with your world, mainly because your world is a reflection of you.

Overheard at the girls' basketball game: "You gotta look for her inside. LOOK INSIDE, please!" Good advice for all of us, Coach...

Connecting to your inner be-ing is but one breath away...

Your life experiences are created by your thoughts, feelings, and actions, as an extension of your inner essence.

Trust yourself. We can get confused by the many suggestions offered by others. Take a breath, look within, and find the answers you seek.

Relaxation is one of the many ways we reconnect with ourselves, our family, and our world. Find time to relax every day.

Be yourself, no matter the situation. It feels satisfying and it will help you move forward along your path.

Life is full of mystery. As you explore it, you’re learning more about yourself and how you experience the world around you.

Remember, when other people are upset with you, it is not your fault. They’re ultimately just arguing with themselves.

Your power comes from within. Seek the deep voice that speaks only joy.

Think deeply about who you are and where you come from. You share this place with planets, stars, and galaxies. You are part of the whole.

Service

We each must find our own path through life. But by being your Self, you help light the way for others through your words and actions.

Sharing yourself in ways that feel wonderful are the most important and best impressions others will have of you and your work.

Inspiration is all around you. When you let your imagination roam, you're sure to discover new ideas that you can contribute to the world.

By being tuned in to your spirit, you open up many possibilities. Offer your energy to everyone you meet, and you'll lift their spirits too.

Be yourself no matter what's going on around you. Stay centered and they will eventually come around again.

When you give to others, do it from a place of compassion and strength, rather than one of self-sacrifice. Give because it feels good!

When inspiration happens, follow through with it. It is a guide toward what you really want to offer to the world.

Sometimes it’s much better to be a good listener than an advice giver. People often just want a sympathetic ear and a dash of empathy.

To be of service, find the best way to use your unique talents and energies to help other beings.

Letting people help you is not only kind to you, but to them as well. Giving and receiving is a sacred balance.

Life is a balance. Be devoted to your self, your family, your friends, your community, and the earth - but perhaps not all at the same time.

Signs

Success

Think about what success means to you. Not the definition you see on TV or hear from friends, but what your heart says about succeeding.

A sense of accomplishment feels wonderful, especially when it concerns the way you live and share your life creatively and spiritually.

So perhaps the key is to find something that you feel passionate about, that lights you up, and brings you joy, then do that.

Have you ever had one of those days where everything is going your way, people are helpful, and you feel terrific? Sweet! More to come!

Visualization

Visualize your life the way you want it. Feel it, experience it, live it. Be the way you want the world. Relax into the life you want.

Use the power of your imagination to manifest what you want, tempered by clear communication and intuition from your heart.

Action alone will not create the life of your dreams. Feel as if you've already actualized your dreams, then take actions that are inspired.

As you focus on the peace and equanimity within, you will find those qualities reflected in the outer world as well.

Imagine in your mind’s eye that which you most wish to experience, with no restrictions. See it, feel it, hear it, smell it, be it!

The more clearly you can visualize what you want, the more you’ll be able to make it happen. Just five minutes a day of daydreaming helps!

In your mind, as clearly and powerfully as you can, create the image of paradise, whatever that means to you. Visualize daily. Keep it up.

Hold this thought in your head as you go throughout your day: “I can do it!” You might just be amazed by the results it brings.

Take just two minutes each morning to visualize your ideal life. See it clearly, experience it fully, and then go on with your day.

If you think you’re not good at visualization, rather than expecting clear pictures, instead focus on how you feel in your daydream.

Imagine your life the way you have always wanted. Prosperity, balance, wisdom, love, nature, and faeries, welcome to now.

The best part of using visualization to reach your dreams: it works. Don’t take our word for it. Try it yourself. It’s fast, easy, and free.
